Are there any monthly fees or subscriptions?
No. Restspace is completely free to join and list spaces. A 15% service fee is added to the guest's total at checkout — hosts keep their full listed price.
What payment methods do you accept?
We use Stripe for secure payment processing. Guests can pay with all major credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay.
How do hosts receive their earnings?
Hosts connect their Stripe account to receive payouts. Funds are typically available within 2-3 business days after a booking completes.
What does the 15% service fee cover?
The service fee covers secure payment processing, 24/7 customer support, booking management tools, marketing exposure, and continuous platform improvements.
What happens if a booking is cancelled?
Cancellation policies are set by hosts. Refunds are processed according to the host's policy. No platform fees are charged on cancelled bookings.
What about Stripe processing fees?
Stripe charges 2.9% + 30¢ per transaction. This is separate from the 15% service fee and is standard for all Stripe-powered platforms.
